Virtual Tour

A retreat is where we create the ideal conditions for a more profound practice of yoga and meditation. We make time for reflection and develop conscious attention. We are able to get more in tune with our needs, those of others and the environment. Our retreats explore yoga in a natural and quiet setting. They are ideal for people new to yoga or those already experienced. Retreats can be a mixture of yoga, meditation, discussion groups, chat, leisure and other activities

Teacher's Info

I was first introduced to yoga back in 2000 and was hooked after the first few classes. I started feeling a deep sense of joy and peace. My body felt lengthened, my muscles relaxed, my mind alert; I felt peaceful.

After years of personal practice and finding yoga to be so beneficial, I decided to go deeper into the practice and started my studying in yoga to become a yoga teacher. I completed my Yoga, Anatomy and Physiology Teacher Training Diploma with Kevala Institute, UK in 2007 and attained my Yoga Alliance Certificate from the Yogananda School of Yoga where I studied Kriya Yoga and Meditation in 2013. Today I am also a member of YACEP ( Continuing Education Provider in line with Yoga Alliance).

My goal as a teacher is that my students discover yoga as a means to improve their health but also as a path to inner joy and self fulfillment because yoga is a journey of self-discovery.
I believe that yoga is something which the practitioner should hold very dear, it teaches us so much about the whole picture. Both universal and individual. It is a wonderful journey of discovery one which we choose to uncover with our practice, we learn how to grow spiritually, mentally and physically. Yoga is indeed a joining, of all that is external to all that is internal, of all that is individual to all that is universal.

I am extremely grateful to my teachers and to my students from whom I have learnt so much over these years.

Brief Description About Vinyasa Flow and Yoga Ecstatic Dance:

Vinyasa Flow - The word “vinyasa” means aligning breath with movement. Whenever we lengthen the breath in yoga, we step closer towards serenity. During this vinyasa class, we will strengthen and tone the whole body. We’ll work through backbends, side body exercises, deep twists and forward folds with the intention to awaken and nourish the whole body. The class ends with a 10 minute guided meditation to allow the body to reap the benefits of the practice in a state of relaxation. Modifications are also given to make this class accessible to all levels while learning multiple alignment techniques for every stage of each pose

Yoga Ecstatic Dance -Yoga Ecstatic Dance is a flow of yoga where yoga poses and dance are combined together transporting us into a state of inner freedom. The dance aspect is a dance without much structure in which we find ourselves transported into non-ordinary states, into our inner depths, where parts of ourselves have been shut off. The destination is joy and the pleasure of being alive. No knowledge of dance is required. A study cited on the American Cancer Society website infers that dance and movement therapy can help with all kinds of emotional problems, especially boosting body image and self-esteem while reducing anxiety, isolation and depression.
