Objective:

If you are looking for a perfect mix of yoga and recreation to enjoy. This yoga retreat is for you! It is a unique and unforgettable program to experience, filled with opportunities to relax the mind, detox the body and revitalize the spirit. On the first 5 days we will stay in 4-star Furnas Boutique Hotel it is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. The Hotel is a blend of modern and traditional influences in its decor. As they said it is “The perfect spot to unwind, to leave the stress behind and connect to nature”. On the 6th Day We will transfer to Lisbon City - Hotel Da Baixa it is a 4 star Hotel located in historic downtown area. The interior of this hotel is modern, colorful and classic facade. We will spend a week in mindfulness, daily yoga sessions (Morning Breeze Yoga), enjoy delicious delicacies and at the same time you have the time to explore and mesmerize the picturesque beauty of São Miguel Island and the historic city of Lisbon. You will simply allow yourself to take in the pure bliss that Portugal can truly offer.

What to Expect:

You will discover São Miguel Island in a whole new level. On this retreat you will experience various excursions like Jeep Tour you will get a chance to explore the island of São Miguel you will capture fantastic island view, spectacular wild flowers, trees and lakes. On 3rd day you will watch whales through glistening waters, on 4th day all the participants will do a photo walk it is a great opportunity for you to unleash your imagination and creativity while capturing the moments. Before you leave this beautiful island of São Miguel you will experience how to make your own stew! This stew is rich in vitamins and full of flavour. On 6th day You will transfer to Hotel Da Baixa (4 star Hotel) it is located in Lisbon City in downtown area. Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. You will spend a day to discover Lisbon’s historical cobbled alleyways, ancient ruins and white-domed cathedrals – a captivating scene crafted over centuries and many more... This retreat is designed to give you the time and space to reset, and reconnect with yourself through yoga and nature.

Terms of Bookings and Cancellation: 

  • To book a deposit of 50% of the retreat price is required. The remaining balance must be settled on or before February 15, 2021. All participants are be required to sign the liability waiver to participate in this retreat. 
  • Upon confirmation of your participation, the cancellation policy will be effective immediately. 50% of the retreat price is non-refundable in any reason of cancellation. If the cancellation took place after February 15, 2021 the 100% of the retreat price is non-refundable in any reason of cancellation. Arrangements have to be made thus, there shall be no exemptions to this policy.
  • Any additional services required not specified on the given program are considered personal plans and might require supplementary charges.
  • We will accept bookings until February 15, 2021, Thereafter will be subject to the availability of the accommodation.

About Asma Al Majed:

Years ago, I fell in love with Yoga. Yoga has awakened every part of my body, nurturing a relationship of friendship, love and gratitude with every part me. Yoga has brought back to my life the feeling of happiness and joy from my daily yoga practice, breathing exercises and meditation. 

Eager to aspire women by my personal journey, I started teaching Yoga, to share a practice with value, lifestyle, philosophy behind Yoga practice. I've earned my Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Certificate after 300 Hours of Teachers Training Course. Furthermore, I'm a Time Line Practitioner, Choice Theory & Reality Coach, and a QATA Master Coach. I lead Yoga Retreats in all around the world and facilitate intimate women circles.

Each class I teach is a reflection of what Yoga taught me, that is to love unconditionally. This love comes with respect: to respect my body and not treat her like a stranger and to respect her desire to rest when she needs rest. Love that teaches me live the moment and enjoy it. Love that reminds to take things slow, everything will happen at the right time. I look forward to see lives I touch how self-awareness and taking good care of ourselves will lead us. Guiding, inspiring, and supporting until we all become the better version of ourselves.


Morning Breeze Yoga (Active Hatha Yoga)

This class designed more dynamic group of asanas.It generates prana (vital energy ).Its combination of balancing,sun salutations,seated postures, standing postures, back bending, deep stretching, breathing techniques and etc. Balancing asanas improve muscles coordination and postures, inducing physical nervous balance and stilling unconscious movement. This conserves energy and achieves grace and fluidity of motion.

The focus required to perform these asanas with steadiness develops concentration and balance at the emotional, mental and physical levels, removing stress and anxiety.
