About Guruamritdev Kaur:

Guru Amrit Dev Kaur was born in London, England in 1972.

She trained as an actress and is also a published author, graduating in Art and obtained a MA with honors in Art and Archeology in Oriental and African Studies from SOAS, University of London. From a very early age, Guru Amrit Dev had numerous and inexplicable mystical experiences that directed her attention to the more subtle aspects of everyday life. In her quest to understand daily life from a more spiritual level, she began to travel the world  touring Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas, Malaysia, India, Bhutan and Indonesia.

As a result, she spent many years studying with Hindu and Tibetan spiritual teachers and teachers training in Yogic Buddhist and Tantric traditions. These became the foundation of his spiritual search, like the roots of a tree, and from there began to teach Buddhist meditation, Hatha, Iyengar and Tantra Yoga.

She started teaching Kundalini Yoga in 2007 and founded Dharamsala International School of Kundalini Yoga in Salta, Argentina in 2009. She is a "Professional" level coach with KRI, travelling and teaching throughout Latin America and the Middle East supporting the community, creating and supporting their teachers. In 2011 she bought Iktara Retreat Center, 15 acres of fertile valley land 3000 metres into the Andian foothills. The eco ashram and organic farm in the Calchaquíes Valleys (Cachi Adentro) has since been developed and houses trainings and community projects. It is open to all seekers of all paths.

In the last two years she started a yoga charity in Salta "Somos Uno' (We are One) in which 25 teachers from all yoga traditions offer classes to people in the comminity who are less fortunate than others.
