40 Day Yoga Challenge

The everyday 90 mins of yoga flow practise will challenge you at all levels only to grow and transform to better understanding of one's life.

It will help you discover your own true self in deeper and organic ways.

This was my 9th challenge with teacher Alpa. Every challenge has a greater impact on me physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The mental strength I gained this challenge in particular was tremendous. For me it was all about finding ease in the most difficult times and whatever comes my way. This was through holding the poses for longer times and focusing on different breath techniques to release all the mental and physical tension that comes with every pose. Through this practice many realizations showed up in my day to day life off the mat. The challenge is more than a discipline that we cultivate on the mat but it is a starting point to transform our lives and make yoga a lifestyle in everything we do. If you are already practicing yoga, you definitely should try the challenge with Alpa. She is a wonderful teacher, but of course sometimes strict on the mat. The challenging part is not only the early morning timing of the class, but on both the physical and mental practice as well. This is not a competition. You can set your own goals for the challenge or even challenge yourself for each of the poses. It’s totally ok even if you cannot reach your goal because you will be not judged at all. Just be yourself, accept as it is, and at some point you will realize your improvements. Your practice will make you feel more joy for yoga and you will be looking forward to the next challenge. If you are thinking to start yoga or looking for a good studio, Eco Yoga Sanctuary is THE place. Staff is very supportive with kindness and there is always a friendly atmosphere. They also keep the studio always clean, which is very important to me!! I'm really happy with Eco Yoga Sanctuary and I appreciate the opportunity to participate during the challenge with Alpa.

This is my first time to join a challenge and YES IT WAS A CHALLENGING CHALLENGE!!! Not only physically but also mentally, discipline wise, emotionally and energetically. It brought to me many insights and reflections, so did it bring much healing of hidden underneath the surface issues that I had to deal with either physically or emotionally or mentally. I am happy with the realization I came to, the amount of mental and physical flexibility I achieved, and the calmness of mind using breathing techniques whether it was during the class or outside the class in everyday events. Thank you Alpa for such a great experience, and Thank you EcoYoga for giving us this opportunity to join a challenge at your space. Blessed and Thankful ????
