Myofascial release can help you to return to a pain- free life.
Myofascial release (MFR, self-myofascial release) is a form of self- manual therapy claimed to be useful for treating pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles.
It is a safe and very effective technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions using a foam roller to eliminate pain and restore motion.
Foam rolling can also be used in the short-term after exercise to reduce the sensation of muscle soreness.
You may feel tired or relaxed after your myofascial massage, however, most people experience an immediate feeling of relief.
