Yoga for Stress Reduction

This workshop will give you access to yoga’s amazing tool kit for stress management. We will take a look at specific yogic techniques that reduce stress and explore why and how the practice of yoga can help you relax. Through discussion we will explore the effects of stress on the body as well as the effects of relaxation on the body and uncover how a yoga practice can lead to increased wellbeing, health and happiness. The workshop will include an hour long simple practice suitable for all levels and feature gentle restorative yoga postures and yoga nidra. We will then learn some simple practices which can be used in our daily lives to help prevent stress from overcoming us. Whether you are new to yoga and looking for a way to relax or already have experience of this powerfully soothing practice but wish to learn more- this workshop is for you.
