A retreat is where we combine travel and explore the chosen destination for a practice of yoga and meditation like none other. We make time for reflection and develop conscious attention. We are able to get more in tune with our needs, those of others and the environment. Our retreats explore yoga in a natural and quiet setting. They are ideal for people new to yoga or those already experienced. Retreats can be a mixture of yoga, meditation, discussion groups, chat, leisure and other activities

6 Days retreat includes:
  • 2 Yoga sessions a day
  • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner + Evening Snacks + taxes)
  • Guided local village and tea garden hikes. 
  • Mountain biking from resort with a Rakkh Activity Officer. 
  • Visit to local Dozong Monastery for evening or morning prayers (times vary). 
  • Climbing wall activity. 
  • Evening bonfire. 
  • Fresh juices and mocktails throughout the day. 
  • Pottery classes (in house)
  • Airport Pick up and drop (with specific time schedule)

  • Airfare tickets from 23rd March - 28th March 2018

Day 1: (March 23rd)

Atithi Devo Bhava 

The guest is equivalent to God' is taken from an ancient Hindu scripture which became part of the "code of conduct" for Hindu society. So Welcome everyone to the magical India !!!!!!

  • 9:30 AM- Arrive at Amritsar Airport
  • 10:30 AM - Pick up & Drive to the Rakkh Resort (One pit stop at the Golden temple Amritsar) / Breakfast not included 
  • 5:00 PM - Arrive at the resort , Welcome drinks & Snacks
  • 8:00 to 9:00 PM - Brief Introduction about the Retreat & Gentle stretch/Meditation
  • 9:00 to 10:30 PM -  Dinner
Day 2: (March 24) 

Let it Go....

  • 7:00 - 8:30 AM - Yoga session:  Todays practise will focus toward Root (Muladhara) & Navel (Swadhistana) Chakra to bring our physical & emotional grounding , opening up & letting it go with the flow of our life. 
  • 8:30 - 10:00 AM - Breakfast
  • 10:00 - 2:00 PM - Sightseeing ( Local village & Tea Hike )
  • 2:00 - 3:00 PM - Lunch
  • 3:00 - 5:30 PM - Relax & rest - FREE TIME
  • 6:00 - 7:30 PM - Yoga Session - Gentle hip opening stretches with Pranayama &Meditation.
  • 7:30 -  930 PM - Dinner
Day 3: (March 25)  

Just Do It..

  • 7:00 - 8:30 AM - Yoga session:  Todays practise will focus toward Solar Plexus (Manipura) & Heart (Anahata) Chakra  with emphasis on building fire in our body & learn to open our heart towards love, harmony & peace.

  • 8:30 - 10:00 AM - Breakfast
  • 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM - Sightseeing ( Local Dozong Monastery )
  • 2:00 - 3:00 PM - Lunch
  • 3:00 - 5:30  PM - Relax & rest free time/ Colouring optional
  • 6:00 - 7:30 PM - Yoga Session - Gentle Back opening & Shoulder stretches with Pranayama & Meditation
  • 7:30 -  9:30 PM - Dinner
Day 4: (March 26) 

Return to the Innocence

  • 7:00 - 8:30 AM - Yoga session:  Todays practise will focus toward Throat (Vishudda) & Third (Ajna) Chakra initiating the process to help us express to the outside world , creating positive visualisations & images.

  • 8:30 - 10:00 AM - Breakfast
  • 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Wall climbing & colouring Play games, get in touch with our inner child
  • 2:00 - 3:00 PM - Lunch
  • 3:00 - 5:30  PM -  Pottery class
  • 6:00 - 7:30 PM - Yoga Session - Gentle Hamstring stretches  with Pranayama &Meditation
  • 7:30 -  9:30 PM - Dinner
Day 5: (March 27) 

Be one with one's self

  • 7:00 - 8:30 AM - Yoga session:  Todays practise will focus toward Crown (Sahasrara) chakra with an intention to connect to our Higher Self or Soul. 

  • 8:30 - 10:00 AM - Breakfast
  • 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM - Visiting local markets/last minute shopping or any place to be re visited .
  • 2:00 - 3:00 PM - Lunch
  • 3:00 - 5:30  PM -  free time
  • 6:00 - 7:30 PM - Yoga Session - Restorative practice with Pranayama & Meditation
  • 7:30 -  9:30 PM - Bonfire & Dinner
 Day 6: (March 28) 

Hasta la vista, baby

  • 4:30 AM to 5:00 AM - Quick breakfast

Teacher's Info

Alpa undertook a Yoga Teacher’s training course (US Alliance 200 Hours), with an inspiring Yogacharya Santosh Kumar, Ayush Yogadarshanam, Mysore –India & US Alliance 300 hours with Shiva yoga peet, Rishikesh . 
She is also Prana Vashya Yogasana series  certified teacher ( 8 weeks Teacher  training course ) , trained under yogacharya Vinay Kumar . http://www.pranavashya.com 

 Additionally, She holds a diploma in Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga Teaching from UK.

She is also a certified Reiki and Jyothi healer with an interest in trigger point performance therapy and muscle activation. 

As a qualified Yoga teacher, Alpa has a strong passion for supporting and influencing people to achieve a more fulfilling life, and reaches to those who believe in investing in their personal overall health.


Active, positive and energetic Alpa aims to constantly further her education by attending regular workshops in Yoga, Personal Development and Wellness.
